We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to help manage our daily warehouse logistics and support our continued growth. Position Overview The Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in keeping our facility running smoothly. In this position, you will oversee warehouse organization, manage inventory, prepare installation materials, and serve as a key communication link between our sales team, installers, and customers. The ideal candidate is an organized multi-tasker who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Warehouse Logistics:
Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily operations, including material receiving, order fulfillment, and distribution.
Inventory Control:
Monitor stock levels, proactively order materials, track shipments, and resolve issues regarding damaged or missing items.
Material Preparation:
Stage and prepare flooring, tile, and related materials for installation teams.
Specialized Operations:
Operate a surging machine for carpet binding and safely operate a forklift (training provided).
Field Support:
Deliver materials directly to job sites and assist installation teams as needed.
Cross-Functional Communication:
Collaborate effectively with installers, residential/commercial customers, and the internal Sales and Design teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Process Improvement:
Partner with leadership to develop and implement strategies that increase warehouse efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
Proven experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a similar coordinator role is preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office suite; ability to learn internal inventory software.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to safely and consistently lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor inherent to a warehouse environment.
Operational Skills:
Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent time management, and the capacity to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Equipment:
Willingness and ability to be trained on forklift operation.
