Project Scheduler / Project Controls Scheduler Professional Summary Experienced Project Scheduler with strong expertise in Primavera P6, critical path scheduling, project controls, progress tracking, forecasting, and schedule analysis . Skilled in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules for engineering, construction, maintenance, and energy infrastructure projects. Proven ability to coordinate with Project Managers, Engineering, Construction, Procurement, contractors, and other stakeholders to establish realistic schedules, monitor performance, identify risks, and develop recovery strategies. Highly proficient in Primavera P6 for developing baseline schedules, maintaining activity logic, updating progress, analyzing critical paths, performing schedule variance analysis, and producing management-level reports. Strong understanding of project controls and the relationship between scope, schedule, cost, resources, risk, and project execution . Project Scheduler / Primavera P6 Scheduler Developed, maintained, and updated detailed Primavera P6 CPM schedules for multiple concurrent projects. Established project WBS structures, activities, calendars, relationships, constraints, milestones, and schedule coding in accordance with project requirements. Developed baseline schedules and monitored actual project performance against approved baselines. Performed weekly and monthly schedule updates using field progress, engineering status, procurement information, contractor updates, and project team input. Conducted critical path and near-critical path analysis to identify activities that could affect key project milestones. Analyzed schedule variances, float erosion, logic changes, and productivity trends and communicated potential impacts to Project Management. Worked directly with Project Managers, Engineers, Construction Managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to validate progress and establish realistic forecast dates. Integrated contractor and subcontractor schedules into the overall project master schedule. Developed three-week and six-week look-ahead schedules to support construction planning and execution. Performed schedule forecasting and developed recovery schedules when projects experienced delays or productivity issues. Assisted project teams in identifying schedule risks and developing mitigation and corrective-action plans. Monitored engineering deliverables, procurement activities, material availability, construction activities, testing, commissioning, and project closeout milestones. Prepared monthly schedule reports, milestone reports, critical path reports, progress curves, and schedule narratives for project leadership. Maintained accurate schedule data and ensured that Primavera P6 schedules reflected current project status. Supported project change management by evaluating schedule impacts associated with scope changes, delays, and revised execution strategies. Participated in schedule review and forecast meetings and presented schedule performance, risks, and corrective actions to project leadership. Primavera P6 Responsibilities Build and maintain Level 2-4 project schedules. Develop activity logic using FS, SS, FF, and SF relationships where appropriate. Establish calendars, WBS structures, activity codes, resources, and cost accounts. Develop and maintain approved schedule baselines. Perform CPM calculations and critical-path analysis. Monitor total float, free float, constraints, and milestone performance. Update actual starts, actual finishes, remaining durations, and percent complete. Analyze schedule performance and forecast completion dates. Develop recovery and acceleration schedules. Integrate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and contractor schedules. Produce schedule reports and management dashboards. Maintain schedule integrity and ensure compliance with project scheduling procedures.
