Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our manufacturing and warehouse operations team. This position will have a strong focus on the receiving side of operations and will be responsible for accurately processing incoming and outgoing materials, maintaining inventory records, coordinating freight, and completing transactions within an ERP/MRP system. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or distribution experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment . Strong computer skills and hands-on experience processing inventory transactions within an ERP/MRP system such as D365, SAP, Oracle, or a similar platform are required.

Shift Pay:

$25+/hour, flexible depending on experience Duties Receive and inspect incoming materials, verifying quantities, condition, and accuracy against receiving documentation. Process receiving and inventory transactions accurately within an ERP/MRP system. Investigate and resolve receiving discrepancies, damaged shipments, and inventory variances. Prepare and distribute shipping documentation, including picking lists, packing slips, shipping labels, and Bills of Lading. Coordinate with carriers and suppliers regarding pickups, deliveries, shipment status, and delivery schedules. Process outgoing shipments and verify the accuracy of materials prior to shipment. Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records. Locate, print, sort, and distribute picking lists to production and assembly teams. Assist with unloading, unpacking, labeling, and routing incoming materials to the appropriate locations. Communicate with truck drivers, supervisors, production personnel, and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations. Adjust shipping documentation and system transactions as needed due to order or load changes. Assist with inventory control and ensure material movements are accurately recorded within the system. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and receiving area. Follow all company safety procedures and required PPE guidelines. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. 5+ years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or distribution experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Demonstrated experience processing inventory transactions within an ERP/MRP system such as D365, SAP, Oracle, or a similar platform. Strong receiving experience, including inspecting incoming materials and resolving discrepancies. Experience with freight coordination, inventory control, and warehouse operations. Experience preparing and working with Bills of Lading, packing slips, picking lists, and other shipping/receiving documentation. Strong computer proficiency and data-entry accuracy. Ability to operate a forklift or overhead crane. Working knowledge of industrial tools and their uses. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inventory records. Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with carriers, suppliers, drivers, supervisors, and internal departments. Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team. Ability to work in an industrial environment that may include heat, cold, dust, fumes, noise, and vibration. Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, reach, and perform other physical requirements throughout the shift. Ability to wear required PPE, including steel-toed boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, and other protective equipment. Flexibility to work overtime or extended hours when required. This position is ideal for an experienced shipping and receiving professional who is detail-oriented, comfortable working within ERP/MRP systems, and has a strong background in receiving and inventory control within a manufacturing environment.
