Job description The Shipping Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient shipment documentation handling, and quality control within a large team environment. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role leverages proprietary shipping software and general logistics platforms to maintain accuracy and timeliness in all shipping operations. Responsibilities Ensure shipments are palletized to meet delivery deadlines Handle all shipping documentation accurately Ensure quality control standards are maintained Perform data entry for shipping records Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in shipping and logistics High school diploma or equivalent Required Qualifications Experience with shipping large items Proficiency with shipping software Microsoft Office Experience Copy, Scan, Take photos Utilize Shipping and Production Schedules to meet deadlines Knowledge of supply chain coordination Strong attention to detail and time management skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Reliable data entry skills Must be able to count Must know how to palletize material Recognize issues and solve them
