About the
Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Receiving/Storeroom Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming materials, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain and will contribute to the overall success of our organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in a similar role Experience with inventory management software Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect incoming materials, verifying accuracy of contents against purchase orders and ensuring that materials are in good condition Store materials in designated locations, ensuring that they are properly labeled and organized for easy retrieval Maintain accurate inventory records, tracking all incoming and outgoing materials and reconciling any discrepancies Assist with periodic physical inventory counts, ensuring that all materials are accounted for Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure that materials are delivered in a timely and efficient manner
Skills:
As a Receiving/Storeroom Clerk, you will utilize your strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure that all incoming materials are accurately received, inspected, and stored. You will also use your communication skills to effectively collaborate with other departments and ensure that materials are delivered in a timely and efficient manner. Additionally, your ability to lift and move heavy objects will be essential in this role. Preferred qualifications such as forklift certification and experience with inventory management software will also be utilized in this position.
