Job Description

Shipping, Receiving & Materials Specialist Dellner Polymer Solutions is a global manufacturer specializing in vibration control and bonding solutions for international markets. With established production facilities in the United Kingdom and India, we have a new manufacturing facility in the United States, Robertsdale, Alabama. The Shipping, Receiving & Materials Specialist is responsible for the safe and efficient handling, storage, cleaning and movement of materials, components and finished products throughout the facility. The role supports shipping and receiving operations, maintains inventory accuracy and ensures materials are available to production while customer shipments are prepared and dispatched on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Material Handling Safely move raw materials, components, tooling and finished products throughout the facility. Load and unload trucks, trailers and containers. Stage materials for production, storage and shipment. Maintain organised storage areas and ensure materials are correctly identified. Verify quantities and part numbers when receiving or moving materials. Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment as authorised. Support production teams by supplying materials and reporting shortages or issues. Shipping & Receiving Receive and inspect incoming goods for accuracy and damage. Match deliveries against purchase orders and accompanying documentation. Prepare, package, label and stage outgoing shipments. Complete shipping documentation and maintain accurate records. Liaise with carriers, suppliers and internal departments regarding deliveries and shipments. Report damaged, missing or incorrect materials. Maintain safe and organised shipping and receiving areas. Parts Cleaning Clean and degrease parts using approved methods, equipment and chemicals. Follow all safety and chemical handling procedures. Inspect cleaned parts to ensure required standards are met. Package, label and stage cleaned parts for production, storage or shipment. Maintain cleaning equipment and work areas. General Support Assist with inventory counts and stock accuracy. Support housekeeping and 5S activities. Assist with facility organisation and other operational projects as required. Work closely with Production, Purchasing, Quality, Maintenance and Management to support business objectives. Skills, Experience & Qualifications Essential Ability to read and follow specifications, work orders and instructions accurately. Strong attention to detail. Good organisational skills. Ability to work effectively within a team. Reliable and safety-conscious approach to work. Desirable Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse or stores operations. Forklift experience or certification. Experience within a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of inventory control processes.
Pay:
