Shipping Office Associate:
Hours:
Mon•Fri 9AM•5:30
PM Payrate :
$23•$24/hr Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Shipping Office Associate to oversee warehouse inventory health, coordinate outbound shipping logistics, and manage daily administrative and order-processing tasks.
Key Responsibilities Inventory Management & Slotting:
Maintain bin health, replenishment queues, and slotting to optimize pick efficiency (managing min/max, EOQ, FIFO, SLED, and weight limits).
Administrative & Order Support:
Process and audit orders in SAP, handle customer inquiries, consolidate LTL shipments, and manage shipping communications.
Shipping & Logistics:
Schedule outbound shipments, collaborate with freight and international carriers, and generate Bills of Lading (BOL) and hazmat documentation.
Inventory Control:
Oversee cycle counts based on ABCDE indicators, reconcile inventory, and resolve root causes for discrepancies.
Key Qualifications & Skills Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required, along with 2+ years of related warehouse or manufacturing experience.
Equipment Proficiency:
Certified or experienced in operating forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and electric pallet jacks.
Technical & Analytical Skills:
Strong mathematical reasoning (fractions, ratios, percentages) and proficiency in enterprise systems like SAP.
