POSITION SUMMARY
The Receiving Associate will be responsible for handling/moving/documenting raw materials, finished goods, and inbound freight in the warehouse. They will utilize their PIT operation expertise and receiving experience to efficiently unload trailers in inbound as a receiver.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge:
Dock receiving and MHE operation experience. Experience with RF scanners. Understanding of AirLife receiving procedures.
Skills & Abilities:
Basic math and computer skills required. Attention to detail and being able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Able to maintain a friendly relationship with coworkers, customers, drivers, and the general public.
Level of Experience:
Previous warehouse experience of 2+ years is preferred. At least 1 year of certifiable experience operating stand-up reach trucks.
Level of Education:
High School diploma or equivalent. Travel As the business needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Unload incoming shipments, verify quantities and condition, ensure accurate documentation of received goods. Instruct new receivers on how to properly receive shipments. Safely operate forklifts in a busy warehouse environment. Able to lift 50 pounds and stand on your feet for long periods of time. Effectively communicate with leads, supervisors, and managers on priorities for the day.
