Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated Shipping Lead Associate to oversee and coordinate our shipping operations within a dynamic warehouse environment. This role is integral to ensuring efficient order fulfillment, accurate inventory management, and seamless logistics processes. The ideal candidate will possess extensive warehouse experience, and proficiency with various shipping and inventory management systems. Duties Daily shipping activities, including order picking, packing, and staging for shipment to ensure timely delivery. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software to track inventory levels, process shipments, and update records accurately. Oversee shipping logistics, including preparing shipping documents, trade compliance documentation, and ensuring adherence to international trade regulations. Manage inventory replenishment through stock counting, data entry, and reconciliation using inventory management software. Ensure proper packaging of products to prevent damage during transit while optimizing space utilization. Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve shipment issues promptly and provide tracking information. Maintain compliance with shipping & receiving protocols, safety regulations, and quality standards. Experience Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with a focus on shipping & receiving functions. Strong knowledge of inventory management techniques and software applications related to logistics. Basic math skills for order calculations, measurements, and data entry accuracy. Experience with international trade regulations and trade compliance is preferred. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and external partners effectively.
