Join Mesker as a Shipping & Receiving Associate and help prepare hollow metal door products for safe, accurate, and on-time shipment. In this hands-on warehouse role, you may rotate among packing, wrapping, crating, loading, and labeling workstations. You will work with the shipping team to follow customer specifications, maintain quality standards, and keep the work area safe and organized. What You'll Do

• Perform assigned shipping activities, including packing, wrapping, crating, loading, and labeling.
• Follow job orders, daily travelers, and customer specifications accurately.
• Retrieve door parts and materials needed to complete finished products.
• Identify the components of finished products using established company and SDI standards.
• Record production and quality information and report concerns to the supervisor.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and ready for safety or quality inspections.
• Use required personal protective equipment and follow all safety procedures.
• Participate in Mesker's safety program and support company goals.
• Train on additional shipping workstations as proficiency develops.
• Perform other related duties as assigned. Driving & Customer Deliveries
• Regularly deliver products to customer locations in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
• Maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driving record that meets company requirements.
• Safely load, secure, transport, and unload products while providing courteous customer service. Physical Demands & Work Environment
• Regularly lift and carry up to 75 pounds and push or pull carts weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive twisting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and material-handling tasks.
• Safely operate basic hand and power tools used to pack and move door materials.
• Handle materials such as metal, poly, and glue while wearing required personal protective equipment.
• Work in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse with moderate to loud noise levels.
• Work with limited or close supervision based on demonstrated proficiency. What You'll Bring
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions, job orders, and standard work tickets.
• Basic computer and math skills, including measurement and fraction-to-decimal conversion.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and basic problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to train, shadow experienced team members, and complete workstation proficiency assessments.
