What You'll Do As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk , you'll be a critical part of our operations, ensuring that materials, frames, and supplies are received, staged, packed, and delivered accurately and safely.
Your responsibilities will include:
Start of Day Review daily production lists to identify items scheduled for pickup, delivery, or transfer. Inspect the forklift and complete required pre-shift safety checks. Review email and Monday Board updates for new delivery requests or store inquiries. Ensure the shipping and receiving area is clean, organized, and accessible. Throughout the Day Gather and stage items for scheduled deliveries and customer pickups. Prepare packing lists, verify quantities, record weights, and note special handling requirements. Securely wrap customer frames and materials using proper protective packaging. Load outgoing items using forklifts or carts, ensuring safe and secure handling. Receive inbound deliveries by unloading, inspecting, documenting, and distributing materials appropriately. Fulfill store run sheets by gathering supplies such as cardboard, mount core, ready-mades, and inventory items. Respond to store order adjustments and Monday Board questions. Coordinate with Receiving on reorders, backorders, and cross-shipments. Maintain a clean, safe workspace by addressing debris or hazards promptly. End of Day Confirm all pickups are signed off by drivers or customers. Log completed deliveries and file required paperwork. Power down tools and equipment and secure the forklift. Ensure warehouse lights are off and gates and doors are locked. Stage urgent next-day pickups or deliveries when needed.
Weekly / Periodic
Responsibilities Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory replenishment. Perform Mohawk inventory counts for mount core, glass, and moulding. Assist with store delivery preparation and staging. Follow up with stores regarding delivery confirmations or discrepancies. Support quarterly inventory counts and process improvements. Assist with forklift maintenance scheduling and warehouse layout improvements. Drive company truck
What We're Looking For Warehouse or Shipping & Receiving Experience:
Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or shipping/receiving role preferred.
Forklift Experience:
Comfortable operating a forklift (certification preferred or willingness to obtain). Experience driving a box truck
Detail-Oriented:
Able to accurately track inventory, paperwork, and packing details.
Physically Capable:
Able to lift, move, and stage materials throughout the workday.
Organized & Reliable:
You manage tasks efficiently and take pride in keeping things running smoothly.
Team Player:
Willing to coordinate with stores, Receiving, and other departments.
