Requirements Basic Requirements:

One year forklift experience required. Continuous sitting while operating forklift. Frequent repetitive use of hands and arms while operating the forklift. Frequent repetitive use of legs while operating the forklift. Occasional mounting and dismounting the forklift. Occasional pushing and pulling of carts and horses to clear pathways for the forklift. Occasional walking while assisting the Line Loader. Occasional lifting and carrying of objects (components) up to 50 pounds. Fast-paced plant operations environment.

Preferred Requirements:

Ability to read and interpret documents, including but not limited to safety rules, procedures manual and policy manual. Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with Department Supervisor, Lead, Coworkers and other personnel. Demonstrated ability to solve problems in a practical, methodical way while working with a sense of urgency. Able to read and follow a written set of procedures. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand for extended periods, to sit and talk or hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. Safety glasses are required PPE.
