Although Hajoca is a large company, we work in a decentralized environment where each of our locations, called Profit Centers (PCs), is run by the Profit Center Manager as if it were their own small business. A typical Profit Center is the heart of our business and consists of a warehouse, counter, sales office, and (sometimes) a showroom. Our PCs conduct business under unique trade names and offer a customized business approach, honoring what's special about each local marketplace. Hajoca is looking for a Warehouse Teammate at their Costa Mesa, CA location. Pay for Warehouse Teammate is between$20 and $25 per hour at this location. Role:
You will:- Be responsible for counting, verifying, and receiving incoming vendor shipments and customer return material.
- Stock and maintain the warehouse; and pick, document, and pack customer orders in accordance with Company policy and procedure.
- Act with a high attention to detail to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
- Handle all shipping discrepancies per procedures or forward appropriate paperwork to designated employee to handle.
- Identify nonstock, special-order material, and damaged material and store in proper warehouse locations.
- Complete necessary documentation for customer shipments delivered via third-party carrier.
- Load and unload trucks, operate warehouse forklift and other material handling equipment safely.
- Inform immediate supervisor of stock depletions, count discrepancies, or damaged/defective/nonsaleable merchandise that could impact customer service levels.
- Ensure security and controls are in place and upheld to protect Profit Center assets.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, order, and safety. Remove empty cartons, metal bands, pallets, and other debris. Inform immediate supervisor of safety issues.
- Assist co-workers in servicing customers.
- Perform all job functions in accordance with the company's Safety Standards.
- Successfully complete required safety and compliance trai.
