Job Description
Simpson Chevrolet of Garden Grove is looking for an experienced Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our Parts Dept. We offer an excellent benefits package (medical, dental and vision), paid sick and vacation days, 401k, employee discounts (sales, service and parts), and a great working environment.
DUTIES:
- Responsible for receiving and labeling merchandise for the business
- Prepare products to be received or shipped
- Match actual product to associated documentation, record transactions, print merchandise labels, label and distribute products to designated departments
- Prepare daily paperwork to send to accounting
- Perform work safely and in accordance with company safety standards and regulations
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the warehouse
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Automotive knowledge and/or experience preferred
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Strong communication and language skills
- Attention to detail
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Regularly required to walk
- Lift moderately heavy loads
- Stand and reach above the head
- Frequently required to stand and type
