Hayward, CA Job Details Full-time From $17.79 an hour 20 hours ago Qualifications Packing High school diploma or GED Warehouse experience Materials handling Manufacturing Full Job Description Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support our warehouse and manufacturing operations. This position handles incoming and outgoing shipments, inventory records, material movement, and shipping/receiving documentation while supporting production needs. Responsibilities Prepare, verify, package, label, and ship outgoing orders. Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials and supplies. Coordinate carrier pickups and deliveries and track shipments. Maintain accurate inventory records and perform inventory/cycle counts. Investigate and report shipping, receiving, inventory, and quality discrepancies. Move, load, and unload materials using forklifts and pallet jacks, as authorized and trained. Complete bills of lading, packing slips, receiving reports, and other required documentation. Maintain an organized warehouse and properly stored materials. Communicate with Production, Purchasing, Customer Service, carriers, vendors, and other team members. Follow company safety procedures and PPE requirements. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory, or manufacturing experience preferred. Strong organization, attention to detail, and communication skills. Basic computer skills; ability to learn inventory and shipping systems. Microsoft Office and G-Suite experience preferred. Ability to read and complete shipping/receiving documents accurately. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Ability and willingness to safely operate material-handling equipment after training. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry materials weighing 50+ pounds.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to regularly use hands and fingers to handle materials, paperwork, tools, and equipment.
  • Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and move materials as required to perform the essential functions of the position.
Work Environment Work is performed in a warehouse and manufacturing environment. Employees are required to follow safety procedures, use required PPE, maintain an organized work area, and communicate professionally and respectfully with coworkers, supervisors, customers, and vendors.
