The Role We are looking for a detail-oriented, reliable Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our Operations team in Hayward, CA. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Operations, this position plays a critical role in ensuring timely and reliable outbound shipments, accurate receipt of incoming materials, and organized warehouse operations. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for handling all outbound shipments, incoming receipts, warehousing, and the movement of materials and equipment throughout the company. This role supports accurate inventory control, efficient order fulfillment, safe material handling, and general operational needs. A flexible and energetic approach is important, as a wide variety of tasks must be completed carefully and quickly.Requirements:
Where You Make a Difference Pick, package, route, and document daily sales orders in accordance with Order Management instructions, customer requests, and company and carrier policies and practices Verify and record receipt of incoming materials against approved Purchase Orders and move materials to the appropriate recipient or storage location Maintain records and logs to track and expedite individual shipments and support measurement of shipping performance Maintain organized files of service guides, waybills, and other carrier and freight-forwarder documentation for use by qualified Biolog personnel Exercise controls to prevent mix-up and unauthorized use of materials in inventory Maintain shipping, receiving, storage, and warehouse areas in a clean and organized condition Perform material and equipment movement and general maintenance functions under the direction of the Sr. Manager of Operations Identify, store, and handle hazardous materials in accordance with safety regulations and company policies Perform warehouse inventory counts and enter data in NetSuite; identify low inventory items or parts approaching outdating, and perform other tasks and projects as assigned by the Sr. Manager of Operations What You Bring High School diploma or equivalent required One or more years of experience in inventory management, shipping, receiving, and/or handling incoming materials required One or more years of experience stocking and warehousing goods, including recordkeeping, organizing and locating inventory, storage conditions, and computer inventory transactions Familiarity with units of measure, material handling equipment, inventory nomenclature, and common package and freight carriers such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, and LTL carriers preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks quickly and accurately Proficiency using computer systems for order fulfillment and shipment processing Ability to safely handle, pack, and move materials, including items requiring special packaging Strong communication skills and commitment to workplace safety What We Offer Competitive compensation Comprehensive medical coverage with 100% employer-paid premiums for employees and 75% for dependents, plus dental and vision included Company-paid life, short-term, and long-term disability insurance Flexible paid time off and paid sick leave 13 paid holidays 401(k) with company match Stock optionsHourly:
