As a Shipping Clerk, you'll play a vital role in ensuring goods are shipped safely, efficiently, and on time. You'll work closely with the warehouse and logistics team to deliver results that make a difference. What You'll Do As a Shipping Clerk, you will be responsible for Determining the best shipping method based on route, rates, and procedures Picking up and delivering freight in a timely manner Conducting routine vehicle inspections, including checking oil, brakes, water, lights, and tires Loading, handling, and transporting materials and heavy cargo safely Operating forklifts and pallet jacks to move items within the warehouse Securing cargo using ratchet straps, chains, and binders Affixing shipping labels and preparing containers with fillers and padding Planning and monitoring shipments to ensure on-time delivery and documentation accuracy Verifying shipment details against bills and invoices, recording shortages or damages, and addressing issues as needed Maintaining detailed records of shipment data and documenting any discrepancies What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have A high school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required) Valid driver's license and experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks Knowledge of shipping procedures, safety protocols, and vehicle maintenance Ability to lift and handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Why Join Us in Huntington Beach?
