Job Description

Our client, a large medical device company, is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the Shipping/Receiving department The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, technical aptitude and a team-player mentality, which will align successfully in the organization.

Long Beach, CA Pay Rate Range:
$20/hr. - $23/hr.
Duration:
6 - 12 month assignment What's the Job? Informing supervisor of factors such as shipments, options, timeliness, transfers or regulations affecting shipments.
Preparing shipping documentation such as:
bills of lading, packing lists, docking receipts or certificates of origin. Providing shipment status notifications. Verifying proper packaging and labeling of products. Keeping records of products dispatched or received. Monitoring or recording locations of products in transit. Arranging delivery or storage of product at destination. Verifying adherence of documentation to customers, insurance, or regulatory requirements. Receiving shipments from suppliers, stage orders, check shipping labels and preparing BOLs. Communicating effectively with drivers and assign dock doors as needed. Performing other duties as assigned by the Department Supervisor What's Needed? High School Diploma or GED. year of working as a shipping/receiving clerk or warehouse dispatcher. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to execute multiple productive activities.
