We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Kitchen Prep Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. As a Kitchen Prep Assistant, you will play a crucial role in handling our food prep and orders, supporting bartenders, and ensuring the bar operates smoothly. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in the food and beverage industry, particularly in settings such as nightclubs, restaurants, and catering events. Your responsibilities will include assisting with inventory management, maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service. Pay is $17+ tips. Responsibilities Prep simple food, syrups, juices, maintain kitchen standards. Assist bartenders with needed ingredients and bottles. Stock and replenish bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area by regularly cleaning surfaces, utensils, and equipment. Help with the setup and breakdown of the bar for events or shifts. Collect empty glasses and bottles from tables to ensure a tidy environment. Support bartenders during busy periods by providing prompt assistance. Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Engage with customers when necessary to enhance their experience. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to interact with customers effectively. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) as needed. A passion for the hospitality industry with an eagerness to learn about bartending techniques.
