Warehouse / Logistics Job Summary The Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for coordinating the movement of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished plastic bottle products throughout the manufacturing facility. This position ensures accurate receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipment of materials while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments of plastic resins, packaging materials, supplies, and production components. Verify quantities, part numbers, purchase orders, and shipping documents for accuracy. Inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies and report issues to management. Prepare finished plastic bottle orders for shipment according to customer requirements. Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment. Stage finished goods and raw materials in designated warehouse locations. Create and maintain shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing slips, and inventory records. Coordinate with carriers, drivers, production, and customer service teams to ensure timely deliveries. Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counts and warehouse audits. Enter shipping and receiving information into computer systems or ERP inventory software. Apply labels, verify product identification, and ensure proper packaging before shipment. Support production by delivering materials to manufacturing lines as needed. Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and housekeeping requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and shipping area. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 1-3 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred. Experience in plastics, packaging, injection molding, blow molding, or manufacturing environments is a plus. Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack safely (forklift certification preferred). Basic computer skills, including experience with inventory systems and Microsoft Office. Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately complete paperwork. Ability to lift, move, and stack materials as required (up to 50 lbs.). Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Preferred Skills Experience with ERP, WMS, or inventory tracking systems. Knowledge of freight procedures and warehouse operations. Ability to read purchase orders, packing lists, and production documents. Strong communication and organizational skills. Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and reaching. Ability to safely move materials throughout the warehouse. Ability to work around manufacturing equipment and production areas while following safety guidelines. Work Schedule Full-time position.
