Monday-Friday 0730-1600 Position Overview Responsible for daily administrative aspects of the Logistics Department. Provides administrative assistance and support to the Logistics / Warehouse team.Essential Functions:
Scheduling/ Rescheduling Appointments :
Coordinate with customers/ carriers and internal teams to arrange and adjust shipping schedules.Checking Inbound and Outbound Loads :
Check-in truck drivers; ensure they receive or provide the correct paperwork. Ensure accurate and timely check-in of all incoming and outgoing shipments. Monitor daily activities and ensure trucks are serviced in a timely manner. Document management : Prepare and send load documents to customers daily, including shipping manifest and other necessary or required paperwork; then file and store accordingly.Communication :
Maintain clear and professional communication in all interactions-radio, phone, in-person, email, etc.Data Entry :
Accurately input shipment and delivery data into system.Administrative Assistance :
Support Logistics/Warehouse team with administrative overflow. Cross train, learn the other departmental positions and provide coverage for team when necessary.COMPETENCIES

Collaboration Work effectively and efficiently with warehouse and shipping staff to ensure smooth operations. Quality Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and looks for ways to improve and promote quality in a fast-paced environment. Initiative Volunteers readily, seek responsibilities, takes independent actions, looks for opportunities to assist the team. Attendance Is consistently at work and on time, ensures work responsibilities are covered. Qualifications Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Communication Skills Effective written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual preferred but not required. Computer Skills Familiar with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), data entry, and shipping management systems. Typing Skills Typing speed of at least 40 WPM to keep up a standard level of efficiency. 10-Key a plus. Physical Demands & Working Conditions Primarily sedentary work in a fast-paced environment requiring prolonged sitting, computer use, and communication by phone and email. Being able to multi-task and stay organized is a must. Standing, walking, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 30 pounds may be required.
