A Shipping or Receiving Clerk tracks all incoming and/or outgoing shipments at a company facility and checks that shipment orders are filled correctly. Uses scanning equipment to track inventory. Works in receiving to check shipments that are primarily production materials or company supplies, or checks outgoing shipments of finished products.

Job Description
MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / COMPETENCIES 1.
Process orders for shipment in accordance with pertinent Standard Operating Procedures and GMP/ISO standards. 2. Verify incoming FGI by computer in accordance with pertinent Standard Operating Procedures. 3. Restock inventory using FIFO system in accordance with pertinent Standard Operating Procedures and GMP/ISO standards. 4. Filing. 5. Process out-going mail. 6. Other duties as assigned by Shipping/Receiving Supervisor.REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION & TRAINING
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
EXPERIENCE
- Warehouse, shipping and distribution experience preferred.
- Some computer experience preferred. SKILLS
- Adequate oral and written verbal skills.
- Ability to understand GMP and ISO Standards.
- Ability to work overtime if necessary.
