Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining efficient warehouse workflows. Experience with warehouse management systems, RF scanners, and equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks is highly preferred. This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely dispatch of goods and maintaining inventory accuracy within a fast-paced e-commerce and distribution environment. Responsibilities Prepare and process outgoing shipments using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), and AS400 software Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and unload freight using pallet jacks, forklifts, or reach trucks Pick, pack, and label orders accurately for shipment, ensuring proper packaging standards are met Manage stock levels through order picking, stocking, and inventory updates within MRP systems Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols Maintain organized storage areas to facilitate smooth warehouse distribution operations Assist with order fulfillment processes including order picking and packing for e-commerce orders Ensure compliance with safety regulations during all shipping and receiving activities Keep detailed records of shipments and inventory movements for reporting purposes Experience Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable, especially in shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, or warehouse distribution roles Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, AS400, and MRP software is preferred Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks is a plus (certification preferred) Basic math skills are necessary for inventory counting and order calculations Knowledge of packaging standards and order picker equipment is advantageous Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment This position offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic logistics team committed to operational excellence.
