In this vital role, you will oversee the accurate and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring that all products are received, stored, and dispatched in accordance with company standards and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, familiarity with warehouse management systems, and a commitment to maintaining seamless warehouse operations. Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and document discrepancies or damages Prepare outgoing shipments by selecting products, packing items securely, and labeling accurately Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load and unload freight efficiently and safely Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software to track stock levels and update records Coordinate with logistics providers to schedule pickups, deliveries, and ensure compliance with shipping regulations Perform data entry related to shipping documentation, bills of lading, customs paperwork, and inventory updates Assist with stock replenishment, stocking shelves, and organizing warehouse layout for optimal workflow Ensure adherence to trade compliance standards and international trade regulations when applicable Support inventory management activities including cycle counts, stock audits, and reconciliation Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve shipping issues or delays promptly Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment in accordance with safety standards Experience Prior experience working in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly preferred Familiarity with warehouse management systems (such as ERP or AS400) and inventory management software Proven ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and calculating shipment weights or volumes Experience with shipping logistics including order picking & packing, load & unload procedures Strong data entry skills combined with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively across teams Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
