A Shipping or Receiving Clerk tracks all incoming and/or outgoing shipments at a company facility and checks that shipment orders are filled correctly. Uses scanning equipment to track inventory. Works in receiving to check shipments that are primarily production materials or company supplies, or checks outgoing shipments of finished products.
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse team. In this role, you'll handle both the physical and clerical aspects of shipping, receiving, and storing a wide variety of materials, supplies, and equipment. This position plays a key part in ensuring the accurate flow of products in and out of our facility while maintaining safety and quality standards.

$23.00•$26.00 an hour
DOE Schedule:
Monday•Friday 8:30am•5:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts, both sit down and stan up, to move materials to appropriate storage or work areas Receive, inspect, and route incoming shipments Reject and document damaged or incomplete shipments; coordinate with shippers as needed Maintain accurate records for all incoming and outgoing shipments Track inventory of shipping supplies and ensure stock is replenished Prepare items for shipment according to customer and internal requirements Coordinate pickups with designated carriers based on shipping instructions Report defective materials or discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager Maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with safety regulations Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned
Requirements:
Previous experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics preferred 3-4 years of stand up forklift experience Experience with international shipping and documentation is preferred Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly Basic computer/data entry skills Reliable attendance and punctuality Commitment to workplace safety and following PPE requirements
