Job Description:
Our team is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic fulfillment associate to join our gift production team. As a fulfillment associate, you will be responsible for processing and assembling custom gift orders. This could include managing incoming inventory, inventory quality assurance, gift assembly, and packaging orders for shipment. To ensure success as a fulfillment associate, you should have a good understanding of production and warehousing procedures, a high attention to detail, and the ability to lift and move boxes. Ultimately, a top-class fulfillment associate processes orders quickly and efficiently while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform receiving activities including inventory counting and visual quality checks (inspecting merchandise for damage, flaws, and irregularities) Arrange incoming deliveries in designated storage areas Locate and extract merchandise from storage areas Read and understand work orders to confirm accurate gift merchandise Perform project preparation activities including assembling boxes, cutting ribbon, cutting bubble wrap, etc. Assemble finished gift boxes and bags with a combination of packaging, products and printed materials Transport packed gifts to delivery areas Finalize work orders and updating tracking database Clean and organize warehouse and gift fulfillment area Adhere to safety and quality standards
Requirements:
Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., with or without assistance High school diploma or GED. Ability to read and interpret written work orders.
Desired Qualifications:
Previous experience as a fulfillment associate. Knowledge of warehousing procedures an advantage. Strong attention to detail. Ability to lift medium to heavy objects. Ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day. Ideal candidate would be a motivated, self-starter, has high attention to detail, time-management skills, and as well as effective communication skills
