Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our logistics team. In this vital role, you will oversee the accurate and efficient handling of inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring products are received, stored, and dispatched seamlessly. Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments by verifying contents against purchase orders. Safely operate equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load and unload trucks efficiently. Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, labeling, and staging products according to shipping guidelines. Maintain accurate inventory levels Ensure proper packaging standards are met to protect products during transit while optimizing space utilization on pallets. Conduct regular inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and update records to support accurate stock levels. Requirements Proven warehouse experience with a strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures. Valid certification for forklift operation; experience with reach trucks and pallet jacks is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management systems, MRP software for inventory control. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for order quantities, weights, and measurements. Experience with order picking & packing, stocking, and using RF scanners for efficient workflow. Knowledge of safety protocols related to load & unload operations and equipment handling. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
