This temp-to-hire position offers a great opportunity for a detail-oriented and reliable individual to manage the receipt, inspection, documentation, and distribution of incoming materials while ensuring accurate inventory records within the company's ERP system. Responsibilities Unload and receive incoming materials from freight carriers and delivery services. Verify incoming shipments against packing slips, purchase orders, and other shipping documentation. Count and inspect materials for accuracy, quality, and potential damage. Report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials to the appropriate department. Process receipts and inventory transactions accurately within the company's ERP system. Label incoming materials and maintain accurate inventory identification. Move received and finished materials to designated storage areas, workstations, or departments. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area. Assist with inventory control activities and cycle counts as needed. Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines. Qualifications Previous experience as a Receiving Clerk, Warehouse Associate, Material Handler, or similar role. Strong ERP system experience required. Comfortable working with computer systems and inventory management software. Ability to accurately process and verify shipping and receiving documentation. Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Forklift experience is a plus. Understanding of inventory control and warehouse best practices. Physical Requirements Regular lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials up to 50 pounds. Standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the workday. Required Work Hours Monday - Friday, full-time Benefits The position offers a competitive pay range from $24.00 to $26.00 per hour, based on experience.
