We are looking for a skilled Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team. Position :

The Shipping & Receiving Clerk assists with the material handling needs of sales and service. Responsible for the unloading, receiving, and stocking of receivables; picking, packing, staging, loading, and shipping of orders; and performing cycle counts and stock replenishment activities.

Duties/Responsibilities :

Report to the Service Manager and Assistant Service Manager to receive work assignments. Verify inventory counts and physical inventory (cycle counts). Alert management of errors in material handling, stock locations, stock levels, etc. Prepare orders for staging or shipment per pick tickets; ensuring accuracy of the items picked, the associated documentation, and quality/safety of packaging. Stage production, service/repair work orders, and transfer orders in designated staging locations. Record inventory transactions using the company ERP software as required per company procedures. Load orders on trucks/trailers/containers per picking/shipping instructions.

Unload and receive vendor deliveries:

verifying items and quantities upon receipt, reviewing, signing, and receiving related documentation, and reporting any discrepancies promptly. Identify and label boxes, packages, and products as required per stocking or picking instructions. Stocking of inventory in proper locations. Move materials in and out of work areas and warehouse locations as required for stocking and replenishment activities.

Assist walk-in customers:

identifying parts, filling out pick tickets, picking, packing, loading, and coordinating with the customer service representatives (order desk) to complete transactions. Pressure wash fleet vehicles, refuel, and return to designated areas. Pressure wash customer equipment pending repair and stage in designated area. Follow the material handling standards and procedures of the business. Using forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, dollies, or other warehouse equipment as required. Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas at all times. Perform work using required PPE and observing company safety procedures. Report inefficient or unsafe working conditions. Other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Education:

Ability to be forklift certified within 90 days of employment (training to be provided). Knowledge of and ability to use common hand tools. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to perform basic math calculations, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Ability to interact with computer systems and software applications.

Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and work well with internal customers. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to clients and other employees of the organization; apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Previous experience working in Manufacturing Production and knowledge of related industries.

Environmental Conditions:

Indoor/outdoor, typical manufacturing environment 100% of the time. The noise level in this environment is moderate to high. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and equipment. and is exposed to fumes and airborne particles, and will be in wet and humid conditions occasionally. Perform duties as assigned while following safety requirements, including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach with hands and arms, and use hands to finger, handle or free objects. Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds often throughout the shift.

•Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. A 40-hour work week will be considered normal. Extra hours, working non-scheduled hours and extra workdays may be needed to accommodate changing production schedules, new projects, product development and other special situations.

Compensation:

$17.00-$23.00
