Overview Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized, hands-on E-Commerce Operations Lead to oversee the day-to-day flow of inventory and products through our online business. Our company specializes in the sale of refurbished and used computers and electronics through e-commerce channels. This person will be responsible for leading the operational ecommerce lifecycle of products—from receiving inventory and coordinating testing and refurbishment through photography, product listing preparation, storage, order fulfillment, shipping, and returns. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable managing processes, and capable of identifying inefficiencies and implementing improvements. Key Responsibilities Order Fulfillment & Shipping Oversee daily order fulfillment and shipping operations. Ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. Develop and enforce packaging standards to minimize shipping damage. Monitor shipping costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce expenses. Manage shipping supplies and maintain appropriate inventory levels. Ensure proper procedures are followed for high-value electronics and sensitive equipment. Monitor fulfillment errors, shipping delays, damages, and customer issues and implement corrective actions. Inventory Management Maintain accurate inventory counts across internal systems Ensure products are properly identified, labeled, and assigned to the appropriate stage of the workflow. Monitor inventory movement and investigate discrepancies, missing units, or inaccurate inventory records. Develop and maintain organized warehouse and storage systems. Coordinate regular inventory audits and cycle counts. Product Flow & Operations Manage the complete flow of products from arrival through sale and shipment. Coordinate workflow between receiving, testing, data wiping, refurbishment, grading, photography, listing, storage, and shipping. Ensure products move efficiently through each stage without unnecessary delays. Track work-in-progress inventory and identify bottlenecks that are slowing product availability. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for each stage of the product lifecycle. Establish clear priorities for processing inventory based on sales demand, inventory levels, and business needs. Continuously identify opportunities to improve speed, accuracy, productivity, and profitability. Product Preparation & Photography Oversee the preparation of computers and other electronics for photography and online sale. Ensure products are cleaned, properly presented, and accurately represented. Manage the photography process, including product photos, cosmetic condition photos, accessories, and any necessary identifying information. Develop standards for product photography to ensure consistency across listings. Ensure units are properly matched with their corresponding photos, specifications, condition grades, and inventory records. Work with the e-commerce team to ensure products are ready for listing quickly and accurately. Returns & Quality Control Oversee the operational handling of customer returns. Ensure returned products are inspected, tested, and accurately re-entered into inventory when appropriate. Track reasons for returns and identify recurring issues. Work with relevant teams to reduce avoidable returns, shipping damage, and product-related customer complaints. Maintain quality-control standards throughout the product lifecycle. Qualifications Previous experience in e-commerce operations, warehouse operations, fulfillment, inventory management, or a similar role. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Experience working with inventory management systems, ERP systems, warehouse management systems, or e-commerce platforms. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Experience with shipping carriers and fulfillment operations preferred. Experience with electronics, computers, refurbished products, or reverse logistics is a strong plus. Comfortable being hands-on and working directly with inventory and warehouse operations.

Pay:

$25.00 - $27.00 per hour
