About the Position We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our shipping and fulfillment team. This is much more than simply packing boxes. Every shipment represents a customer who is trusting us to get their order right. Accuracy, organization, and consistency are the foundation of this position, and the team is highly depenent on this role as well. This is a hands-on, active role in a boutique warehouse where every team member contributes to keeping operations running smoothly. The right person will enjoy staying busy, solving problems, maintaining organization, and taking ownership of their work. This is a part-time position with the opportunity to grow into additional responsibilities for the right individual. Primary Responsibilities Pick, pack, and ship wholesale and retail orders accurately and efficiently Receive incoming inventory and assist with unloading freight shipments Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with inventory organization Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and operating efficiently, including daily housekeeping and box breakdown Reorganize product locations and maintain warehouse floor plans for maximum picking efficiency Communicate with team members regarding inventory, customer needs, and order priorities Help identify opportunities to improve warehouse organization and workflow Qualifications We're looking for someone who is: Extremely detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy Organized, dependable, and able to work independently Comfortable learning new software and switching between multiple computer systems throughout the day Able to communicate clearly and work well within a small team Motivated to learn and continually improve Requirements Strong computer skills, including confidence using Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, web browsers, shipping software, and multiple online platforms Ability to remain active throughout the workday with frequent walking, bending, reaching, and lifting Ability to safely lift boxes weighing up to 35 pounds, including lifting overhead when necessary Strong memory and willingness to learn approximately 500 SKUs, including product names, colors, sizes, and warehouse locations Reliable transportation. Position may require occasionally taking Express or after pick-up packages into carrier offices. Dependable attendance. Our warehouse ships Monday through Friday year-round. Because we fulfill orders for major retailers and distributors with strict shipping deadlines and contracts, reliability and punctuality are essential. The warehouse is closed for six major holidays each year: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
