Job Description

Traditions Performance Firearms®, a leader in the outdoor industry, is looking for a Material Handler/Receiver to join their team!
Responsibilities:
Receive shipments to the warehouse, verify accuracy, and conduct receipt of good entry Read production schedule provided by production supervisor, customer orders, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Sort and place materials on appropriate racks, bins, or shelves. Assemble customer orders from stock and place on pallets or in shipping containers. Order picking and staging is done to company standards in a safe manner. Establish and maintain efficient order picking practices. Perform cycle counts and inventory updates. Ability to push, pull or lift minimum of 65 lbs. Package bulk materials into retail packaging accurately and according to bill of materials Package customer orders in shipping cartons accurately according to customer orders and pick sheets. Perform duties assigned by warehouse manager and Shipping supervisor. Position reports to Shipping Supervisor. Regular attendance is required. May occasionally be required to work overtime.
Qualifications:
Receiving, Material handling, warehouse experience required. Fork Lift / Reach Truck operation experience required. Basic reading and writing (English language) and math ability are required. Strong organizational and communication skills, detail oriented. Positive attitude and willingness to work as a team member. Ability to adapt and provide fast response to changes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) a plus. Shipping experience a plus.
