Job Description

Job Summary Join our logistics team as a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, where your energy and attention to detail will drive the smooth flow of goods through our warehouse. In this vital role, you will coordinate the receipt and dispatch of shipments, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and inventory management. Your proactive approach will support efficient warehouse operations, contribute to customer satisfaction, and uphold safety standards. Duties
  • Performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment and finished products shipped via third party LTL carrier.
  • Complete all orders assigned while maintaining a high level of product quality
  • Utilize small hand tools and operate material handling equipment including forklifts, skids, pallet handlers, hand trucks, etc. to stage materials and load trucks.
  • Typical shipping activities include checking goods against shipping documents and authorizations.
  • Pack goods for shipment according to specifications, equipment characteristics, transportation methods and routes.
  • Typical receiving activities include taking receipt of raw materials, components or equipment and unload from trucks primarily using a forklift truck and pallet jacks.
  • Check incoming materials against packing slips, etc, identification and quantity of the materials.
  • May be tasked with performing duties related coordinating the movement of materials throughout the plant.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Shift - 7am to 3 pm. (Monday - Friday)
  • Work overtime as required.

Education:
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience:
1-2 years preferred. Experience Prior experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in shipping & receiving processes. Hands-on experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners is highly preferred. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately. Demonstrated ability to perform order fulfillment tasks such as picking & packing efficiently while maintaining accuracy. Warehouse distribution experience involving load & unload procedures and inventory control practices.

$20.00 per hour
