The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for the accurate receiving, inspection, documentation, storage, and shipment of aircraft parts, materials, tooling, and customer property in accordance with Aerotar Aviation procedures and FAA Part 145 requirements. Key Responsibilities Receive incoming aircraft parts, materials, supplies, and customer property. Verify quantities, part numbers, serial numbers, condition, and required documentation against POs and shipping records. Identify, label, and route incoming items to the appropriate department or storage location. Prepare and package repaired parts and materials for domestic and international shipment. Generate shipping labels and coordinate shipments with UPS, FedEx, freight carriers, and customer-designated carriers. Maintain accurate receiving, shipping, and inventory records. Maintain proper segregation and control of serviceable, unserviceable, rejected, and customer-owned material. Notify Quality, Purchasing, or management of discrepancies, damage, missing documentation, or other receiving issues. Maintain the Shipping & Receiving area clean, organized, and compliant with company procedures. Assist with inventory counts, material movement, and general logistics as required. Follow all Aerotar Aviation safety, quality, and regulatory procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; strong attention to detail and organizational skills; basic computer and data-entry proficiency; ability to safely lift and move packages/materials; and the ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, vendors, and customers. Aviation, MRO, warehouse, or shipping/receiving experience is preferred.
