Key Responsibilities Packing & Logistics Preparation:
Accurately pack, label, crate, and vacuum-pack specialized machinery, components, and tools for safe domestic and international transport.
Documentation & Systems:
Utilize internal ERP software and platform systems (UPS WorldShip / FedEx Manager) to generate accurate shipping documents, customs paperwork, and tracking labels.
Quality Assurance:
Inspect incoming and outgoing items against purchase orders and packing slips; verify weights, dimensions, and product counts to ensure shipment precision.
Material Handling & Equipment Operation:
Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to load, unload, and stage materials throughout the facility.
Inventory & Vendor Operations:
Partner with the inventory team to organize incoming stock, monitor essential shipping supplies, and perform local outside-vendor pickups and drop-offs as needed.
Candidate Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Prior experience in a manufacturing warehouse, shipping/receiving role, or logistics environment preferred.
Software Skills:
Hands-on experience with shipping software (UPS/FedEx) and ERP/inventory tracking systems.
Logistics Knowledge:
Solid grasp of standard domestic/international shipping standards, packing requirements, and compliance paperwork.
Certifications:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required for local vendor trips. Forklift certification is a strong plus. Physical Demands Ability to regularly lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs. Comfortable performing physical work including bending, stooping, reaching, climbing, and standing for extended periods. Safe, competent operation of warehouse material handling machinery.
Compensation / Pay
Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $20.00 Per Hour
