Job Description

Overview Catalyst Solutions is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk II to support property accountability, materiel receipt, and shipping operations at Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD). This junior-level position builds on foundational shipping and receiving skills and is suited for a professional with one year of relevant experience who can work effectively within established Navy supply chain and logistics procedures. Security Clearance Requirement Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Education Requirements High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Experience Requirements Experience requirements may be fulfilled simultaneously. Minimum one (1) year of experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, or inventory management in a military, government, or commercial environment. Demonstrated ability to process shipping and receiving documentation accurately and in compliance with established procedures. Specific Performance Requirements Receive, inspect, and induct materiel into Navy ERP using applicable movement types (MVT 101, 103, 105, 501, 952); validate counts, packaging condition, and part number accuracy against POs. Prepare outgoing shipments in accordance with PWS Section 3.4, including coordination of DD Form 1149 shipment documents and materiel staging for scheduled pick-up. Apply Preservation, Packaging, Packing and Marking (PPP&M) standards IAW MIL-STD-2073-1E and
MIL-STD-129R
for storage and outbound shipments. Maintain monthly incoming and outgoing shipment logs (CDRL A006) documenting document type, line items, quantities, dates, carrier, and tracking information. Prepare and submit data to support Transportation Discrepancy Reports (TDRs) and Supply Discrepancy Reports (SDRs) for non-conforming or damaged materiel. Collect and process WMFs; confirm documents against materiel and obtain required customer signatures; deliver IPG 1 materiel within 24 hours and IPG 2/3 within 72 hours. Track P-Card and SPS procurement receipt transactions and follow up on Government acceptance documentation to support Prompt Payment responsibilities. Maintain KSD files including packing slips, DD-250, DD-1348, DD-1149 forms, and WMFs for all receipt and shipment transactions. Perform causative research on materiel discrepancies and provide recommendations to the Government Lead to prevent recurrence. Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and MHE as certified; lift up to 50 pounds to support materiel movement and warehouse operations. Previous Experience (Preferred) Prior experience with Navy ERP (NERP) or other DoD supply chain management systems. Familiarity with
MILSTRIP
requisitioning procedures and DoD shipping documentation standards. Qualifications & Certifications Valid state-issued driver's license — required. MHE operator certification — required prior to MHE operation. CAC eligibility and completion of mandatory TWMS training — required within 30 days of start. Professional Requirements, Skills & Tools Detail-oriented with demonstrated accuracy in documentation, materiel verification, and count reconciliation. Ability to manage concurrent shipping and receiving tasks in a high-tempo warehouse environment. Strong interpersonal skills; service-oriented in interactions with Government personnel and customers. Works effectively as a count team member and independently on assigned tasks. Proficient in data entry; capable of operating Navy ERP, WebFLIS, FedLog, and Government tracking systems with training. Physical capability to perform warehouse duties including lifting, standing, and MHE operation.

$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
