We are a leading Distribution Company specializing in fittings and valves, seeking a reliable and experienced order puller/shipper to join our team. As a crucial part of our operations, you will be responsible for handling products, maintaining inventory, and ensuring smooth warehouse functions.

Expected Hours:

40 hours per week

Schedule:

8-hour shift Monday - Friday (8am to 5pm with 1-hour unpaid lunch)

Responsibilities:

Pick, pack, and ship materials and products. Handle receiving inventory, put away, and maintain bin inventory counts. Operate forklift safely and efficiently. Load and unload truck orders. Sort and place materials or items according to inventory procedures. Conduct physical inventory counts and report discrepancies. Maintain a safe and clean working environment. Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers. Adhere to quality service standards and comply with company procedures, rules, and regulations. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements :

Proven experience in order picking/shipping (minimum of 1 year). Familiarity with UPS Worldship and FedEX Ship Manager required. Forklift certification required. High School diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in operating a computer (to use our computerized inventory system) and standard office machinery. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment. Ability to lift heavy objects and preform physical task such as standing, bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling for extended periods. Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods. Strong interpersonal skills and agility to work with minimal supervision. Ability to manage priorities and adapt to changing conditions. Must be able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to commute to Pompano Beach, FL 33069 or relocate before starting work.
