Job Summary The Receiving Associate is responsible for receiving, inspecting, documenting, and organizing incoming shipments. This role plays a vital part in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring that goods are processed efficiently and correctly. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and capable of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality. Verify shipment contents against packing slips, purchase orders, and delivery documents. Record and process received inventory in company systems. Organize and store products and materials in designated warehouse locations. Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items to supervisors. Assist with inventory counts, audits, and stock reconciliation activities. Maintain accurate receiving records and documentation. Coordinate with warehouse and logistics personnel to ensure efficient material handling. Keep receiving and storage areas clean, organized, and safe. Follow company procedures, safety regulations, and operational guidelines. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic computer and data entry proficiency. Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
