This role is ideal for a dependable, self-driven person who follows procedures, learns quickly, takes initiative, and works effectively both independently and with a team. Training is provided. Prior experience in manufacturing, CNC machining, sheet metal, forklift operation, or warehouse work is helpful but not required. Responsibilities Machine Operations Assist the slitter operator in keeping production equipment running safely and efficiently. Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards. Learn to operate manufacturing equipment as needed and as training is completed. Help prepare materials and maintain an organized work area around production equipment. Report equipment, safety, quality, or material concerns to a supervisor promptly. Receiving and Warehouse Support Assist with unloading incoming aluminum coils and other materials from trucks. Verify, label, move, and organize incoming inventory as directed. Maintain warehouse cleanliness, including trash removal and general housekeeping. Collect and bale scrap material for storage, and eventual shipment. Shipping Package aluminum coils for shipment, including banding and shrink-wrapping. Stage completed orders for pickup or delivery. Assist with loading outbound trucks safely and accurately. Operate a forklift or other material-handling equipment when trained and authorized. Qualifications Required Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Dependable attendance and reliable transportation to the Tampa, FL worksite. Commitment to safe work practices and attention to product quality. Ability to work productively in a warehouse and manufacturing environment. Ability to communicate effectively in English for safety instructions, training, and day-to-day work coordination. Ability to work overtime when scheduled or required by business needs. Preferred Forklift operating experience. Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, shipping/receiving, or industrial environment. Prior experience with sheet metal, aluminum products, slitting equipment, or CNC machinery. Physical and Work Environment Requirements This is an active, hands-on warehouse and manufacturing role. Essential job functions include moving and handling aluminum-coil products and packaging materials; using banding and shrink-wrapping equipment; accessing forklifts and work areas; and positioning oneself to perform shipping, receiving, and production-support tasks. The work may involve frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and movement throughout the shift.
