In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming shipments. Your proactive approach will ensure accurate inventory management, seamless shipping and receiving operations, and optimal warehouse organization. Duties Receive inbound shipments by unloading trucks using equipment such as pallet jacks and RF scanners Verify shipment contents against purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy Inspect incoming goods for damages or discrepancies and document findings thoroughly Accurately enter data into inventory management software and ERP systems for real-time tracking Prepare items for storage by stocking shelves or designated areas following proper packaging and labeling procedures Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate order picking, packing, and order fulfillment processes Assist in maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment in compliance with safety standards and trade regulations Requirements Prior experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, or inventory management is preferred Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems such as AS400 or MRPs, and Microsoft Office tools Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely (certification preferred) Strong basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail for maintaining precise records Knowledge of international trade regulations and trade compliance is a plus Exceptional customer service skills to effectively communicate with team members and vendors Physical ability to lift heavy items, stand for extended periods, and perform load & unload tasks efficiently Join our team as a Receiving Associate and become an integral part of our logistics operation!
