Job Description
West Palm Beach, FL, US Intermediate Seasonal Description We are looking for a Receiving Associate to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring that merchandise is properly received, organized, and prepared for the sales floor. If you have strong attention to detail, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have experience in a retail receiving or warehouse role, we encourage you to apply. Hiring for full-time seasonal, September through March, with the potential to stay on longterm. Hours are Monday
- Saturday, 9 AM
- 5 PM Position starts at $20 per hour, actual pay will depend on experience and qualifications. Responsibilities Sorting & Storing
- Properly sort and place items on shelves or in designated storage areas. Inventory Management
- Organize and maintain backstock inventory to ensure accuracy and accessibility. Receiving & Processing
- Complete receiving tasks from start to finish, including sorting packages, opening product, checking in inventory, reporting discrepancies to buyers, preparing product for the floor, and tagging each item. Quality Control
- Verify quantities and ensure accuracy of product received by checking paperwork and purchase orders. Communication
- Report issues to Buyers and Store Manager and coordinate with other departments to ensure a seamless receiving process. System Utilization
- Use LightSpeed or other inventory systems to search for incoming product and purchase orders. Organization & Cleanliness
- Keep the receiving area clean, organized, and efficient. Deadline-Oriented
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with deadlines. Additional Duties
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager.
