We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Specialist to join our logistics team. This role is responsible for preparing, packaging, and loading outgoing shipments to ensure safe and timely delivery of products. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

Prepare and package products securely for shipment, ensuring protection during transit. Load packages onto trucks or delivery vehicles in a safe and efficient manner. Verify shipment contents against packing lists and customer orders. Label packages accurately and generate shipping documentation using carrier software. Coordinate with carriers for pickups and track outgoing shipments. Maintain a clean and organized shipping area. Inspect packaging materials and report any shortages or issues. Generate shipping labels, bills of lading, and other required documentation using shipping software (e.g., UPS, FedEx, LTL carriers). Maintain shipping records and update tracking information in internal systems. Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ year of experience in shipping, warehouse, or logistics operations. Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs regularly. Familiarity with shipping software (UPS, FedEx, LTL carriers) is a plus. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Forklift certification or experience is preferred.
