In this vital role, you will be responsible for monitoring shipments, coordinating with warehouse operations, and ensuring accurate tracking of inventory. Your contributions will help optimize delivery timelines, enhance customer satisfaction, and maintain the integrity of our distribution processes. Responsibilities Monitor and update shipment statuses using warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and AS400 platforms to ensure real-time tracking accuracy. Coordinate with warehouse teams to facilitate the loading, unloading, and movement of goods using forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers. Assist in verifying shipping and receiving documentation to ensure compliance with company standards and shipping regulations. Support order fulfillment processes by accurately picking, packing, and preparing items for dispatch using RF scanners and order picker equipment. Maintain detailed records of stock movements, discrepancies, and tracing activities to support inventory accuracy and audit readiness. Collaborate with warehouse staff on stocking procedures, inventory counts, and resolving stock discrepancies promptly. Assist in organizing warehouse distribution activities to optimize space utilization and streamline order processing workflows. Experience Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or distribution center is highly preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, or MRP software is advantageous. Hands-on experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, or order pickers is a plus; certification is a benefit. Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order picking & packing processes, and inventory control methods. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to track shipments efficiently. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining safety standards.
