Receiving Clerk / Order Picker (SAP/ERP) Job Description This role focuses on accurately receiving and recording incoming inventory using SAP/ERP systems, picking orders with RF scanning devices, and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will support daily operations through precise data entry, safe material handling, and efficient order picking, including working at elevated heights with appropriate safety equipment. Responsibilities Use SAP/ERP computer systems to track, record, and update incoming inventory data accurately. Perform data entry related to receiving, inventory movement, and order processing. Receive inventory and verify quantities, descriptions, and documentation against system records. Pick orders using RF scan guns or handheld devices to ensure accurate item selection and tracking. Work from a pick system with maps that direct you to product locations throughout the warehouse. Operate an order picker to reach heights up to 26 feet while using a required safety harness. Handle materials, including lifting, moving, and organizing products within the warehouse. Use stand-up forklifts as needed to move pallets and materials safely and efficiently. Support assembly and kitting activities as required to meet operational needs. Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow all safety procedures and guidelines. Demonstrate strong attendance, reliability, and adherence to scheduled shift times. Collaborate with warehouse and kitting team members to meet productivity and accuracy goals. Essential Skills Experience using SAP/ERP systems for tracking and recording incoming inventory and performing data entry. Proficiency with RF scanners or handheld devices for order picking and inventory management. Ability to operate an order picker and work comfortably at heights up to 26 feet with a safety harness. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently in a physical warehouse environment. Experience with stand-up forklifts and general material handling in a warehouse setting. Strong attendance, reliability, and commitment to meeting shift and productivity expectations. Comfort working in a large, fast-paced warehouse environment that is not temperature controlled. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in receiving, inventory, or data entry roles within a warehouse or distribution environment. Experience with assembly or kitting operations in addition to core warehouse duties. Ability to read and follow pick maps and system-generated instructions. Work Environment This position is based in a large warehouse that is not temperature controlled, offering a dynamic and fast-paced setting. Available shifts include first shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (with the first day starting at 8:00 a.m.) and second shift from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. (with the first day starting at 2:30 p.m.). Team size is approximately 32 employees in the warehouse and about 40 in kitting. The schedule includes two paid 15-minute breaks and one unpaid 30-minute lunch. Employees regularly use SAP/ERP systems, RF scanners, order pickers, and stand-up forklifts, and work involves physical activity, lifting, and working at heights with appropriate safety equipment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
