Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our logistics team. In this vital role, you will help oversee incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with all shipping regulations. Your proactive approach will help streamline warehouse operations, improve inventory accuracy, and enhance customer satisfaction. Duties Receive, inspect, and verify inbound shipments against purchase orders Prepare outbound shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders accurately for timely delivery Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load and unload goods safely Maintain accurate records of all transactions Ensure compliance with trade regulations and shipping logistics standards for domestic and international shipments Manage stock levels by performing regular inventory counts and updating records in warehouse management systems (WMS) Collaborate with warehouse distribution teams to optimize order fulfillment processes and improve overall warehouse operations Skills Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, order picking & packing, and trade compliance procedures Excellent data entry skills coupled with basic math abilities for accurate inventory tracking and calculations Experience operating warehouse equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers; forklift certification preferred Familiarity with MS Office tools for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes Ability to adapt quickly to e-commerce platforms and manage high-volume order fulfillment efficiently Exceptional customer service skills to coordinate with internal teams and external carriers effectively

From $21.00 per hour
