Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our dynamic logistics team in New Hampton, IA. Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing lists, and document receipt using RF scanners and warehouse management systems. Prepare outgoing shipments by selecting, packing, and labeling products accurately for delivery. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load and unload freight safely and efficiently. Maintain precise inventory records within inventory management software and ERP systems. Coordinate with logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries, ensuring timely dispatch. Conduct regular stock counts, reconcile discrepancies, and update inventory data accordingly. Support order fulfillment processes by picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment in accordance with customer specifications. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards during shipping processes. Utilize Microsoft Office tools for reporting, data entry, and communication purposes. Assist in packaging products securely to prevent damage during transit. Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve shipping or receiving issues promptly. Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment aligned with safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, or logistics roles. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, ERP systems, and MRP processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word for data entry and reporting. Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers safely. Strong understanding of shipping logistics, order fulfillment procedures, and packaging standards. Basic math skills for inventory counting and data accuracy. Knowledge of international trade regulations and trade compliance standards is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in fast-paced environments. Effective communication skills to coordinate across teams and external partners. Prior experience in e-commerce or warehouse distribution is advantageous.
