POSITION OVERVIEW

The Operations Admin at Gold Star Foods

•Northwest Distribution in Emmett, Idaho, plays a vital role in supporting the warehouse and logistics functions. This position focuses on managing and organizing key operational tasks such as inventory control, order routing, scheduling, documentation, and interdepartmental coordination. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adept at problem-solving, and brings strong communication skills to ensure the seamless flow of warehouse processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Support Routing all orders for delivery & adjust daily delivery times. Schedule appointments for backhauls. Create RMA's for product returns and manage progress. Daily/ Weekly reporting for Warehouse and Transportation department. Generate labels daily for night crew. Be a back up support to the warehouse manager for daily invoicing. Organize, Code & approve credit card receipts. Perform inventory control by checking stock levels, conducting cycle counts, and maintaining inventory records. Enter data into warehouse management systems to update inventory, shipments, and order information. Print and attach pallet labels to ensure proper identification and tracking of shipments. Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and communication. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge in Excel and Outlook. With the ability to learn company specific software. Ability to lift and move items up to 50lbs consistently. Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control software is a plus. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills .
