is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support our logistics and warehouse operations. This role is responsible for handling both outgoing shipments and incoming deliveries, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Shipping Duties Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments according to company and customer requirements Generate and verify shipping documents (bills of lading, packing lists, shipping labels) Coordinate and schedule pickups with carriers (FedEx, UPS, LTL, etc.) Maintain accurate shipping records and update inventory systems Inspect outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and quality Receiving Duties Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage Unload deliveries and verify packing slips, purchase orders, and bills of lading Accurately enter receiving data into inventory systems Label, organize, and store inventory in designated areas Report discrepancies and communicate with suppliers or internal teams General Responsibilities Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping/receiving area Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and audits Collaborate with warehouse and customer service teams to resolve issues Follow all company policies and safety regulations
Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED required Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred Familiarity with shipping systems (e.g., FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip) is a plus Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, email) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Good communication and teamwork abilities Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods Forklift certification is a plus (not required) Why Join
