Job Description

IMS Buhrke-Olson, an industry leader in precision metal stamping and assembly with manufacturing locations in the US and Mexico, is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for its Elk Grove, IL warehouse. Seeking self-motivated individuals who are able to work on their own and with a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment! This is a full-time position with benefits including vacation, medical/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, 401k, shift premiums, steady overtime, premier wages and more! Job Functions Perform and follow work instructions. Verify quantities, box counts and loads of all incoming product. Make appropriate transfers in ERP. Prepare/enter all necessary documents (i.e. packing slips, bills of lading, purchase orders, etc.) and have shipping coordinator check for accuracy. Keep appropriate signed copies of paperwork after trucks depart with product and scan into the system. Receive purchase orders in the systems for all product scheduled to ship to Mexico facilities and make appropriate transfers. Compile shipping information for all truckloads going to Mexico facilities. Lift containers up to 50 lb. and move a pallet jack weighing up to 500 lb. Load and unload trucks. Assist with shipping needs as necessary. Assist with packing and sorting needs as necessary. Competencies(The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the job successfully.)
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a warehouse setting .
  • Must speak English and be proficient in all forms of communication including written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft applications, the internet, and Epicor.
Pay:
$20.00 per hour
