Summit Staffing is seeking a Truck Line Forklift Operator to support warehouse and distribution operations. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, moving, staging, and shipping products while operating forklifts and other material handling equipment. This position requires a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and productivity in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

$20.00 - $22.00/hour Key Responsibilities Operate forklifts to receive, transport, and stage incoming and outgoing products. Offload daily shipments and stage materials in designated receiving areas. Verify product counts and ensure accurate documentation of inbound and outbound shipments. Move products from receiving docks to proper storage locations promptly. Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy in quantity and product type. Weigh, inspect, and load orders onto trucks for delivery. Label, mark, and shrink-wrap orders as required. Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and shrink wrap machines. Process orders using a computer system or handheld scanning device. Perform quality control checks to ensure order accuracy before shipment. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and security of the warehouse. Follow all company policies, safety procedures, OSHA standards, and MSDS guidelines. Perform routine forklift inspections and basic maintenance documentation. Skills & Experience Minimum of 6 months of warehouse experience. At least 1 year of experience operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts (Crown preferred). Knowledge of warehouse operations, receiving procedures, and safety practices. Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory systems. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and ability to respond to inquiries or issues promptly. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently. Preferred Qualifications Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems. Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics environments. Work Environment Positions available on 1st and 2ndshift . Warehouse setting with moderate noise levels (machinery, conveyors, etc.) Work involves standing, walking, bending, and operating equipment for extended periods Exposure to moving equipment such as forklifts and conveyors Ability to work in varying temperatures (hot in summer, cold in winter) Regular, predictable attendance required, including potential extended hours based on business needs
